Auctions run for five to seven days. Each auction listing has a set end date and time as well as a live timer to show how many days, hours, minutes and seconds are remaining.
If a bid is placed within the final three minutes of a Car & Classic auction, we’ll automatically add another three minutes to the auction countdown, this allows other bidders time to react and place a counter bid if they’ve been outbid. This will keep happening until last-minute bidding stops, so the auction could run longer than the stated end time.
