# What details should I provide for my advert?

As much as possible! Providing accurate and detailed information about the vehicle will greatly improve your chances of selling, so try to populate all of the fields (if possible) when building your advert. The more details you can provide the more informed potential buyers will be, greatly increasing the appeal.

The advert form is designed to help you capture all of the relevant information you need to sell your vehicle so you don’t need to be an expert writer. You’ll find a few tips about what to include but the main thing is to provide as much information as possible.

Your vehicle has a far higher chance of selling for the right price if the description is honest, accurate and detailed, so include everything - the good, the bad and the rusty!

A written description of the vehicle is arguably just as important as the photography so providing a clear and concise account of the vehicle is paramount. Try to avoid long paragraphs of waffle instead, opt for tight formatting whilst still presenting a comprehensive overview of all key aspects.
