If you choose to transact outside of your Car & Classic account, it’s your responsibility to manage your own sale and arrange the transfer of funds with the buyer.
If you choose to transact with Car & Classic and accept an offer through your account, we’ll let the buyer know immediately. We’ll keep you updated and will tell you as soon as we’ve received their payment into our secure account. The money is held in this account until the buyer has collected the vehicle. Then we will release the payment to you via bank transfer.
It’ll take up to 1 business day for UK to UK transactions and between 3-5 business days for UK to EU or EU to UK transactions. If your handover happens on a weekend, your bank will process the transaction on the next business day.
