In most cases, no. What you bid or offer is what you pay. There may be some rare cases where VAT is still applicable on a vehicle, if that’s the case it’ll be stated on the listing. If you do need to pay tax on the vehicle, you’ll need to pay this separately upon collection of the vehicle.
