# Can I find out the reserve of a vehicle?

Come on, that wouldn't be fair now would it? Reserve prices remain confidential on auction listings, but we’ll let you know if a reserve is met, not met, or nearly met on the listing itself.

![Reserve](https://help.carandclassic.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Reserve.png?width=688&height=459&name=Reserve.png)Reserves can be lowered or removed entirely by the seller at any time, including in the final moments of an auction, so even if the reserve is not met after you've placed your max bid, you may still have a chance of winning the auction. Yay! Remember though, all bids are legally binding so please only bid if you’re committed to buying the vehicle. Don't be that guy…

You can, however, always contact us for a guide price by emailing [auctions@carandclassic.com](mailto:auctions@carandclassic.com).
