# What happens once my vehicle sells?

When your vehicle sells, we’ll notify you of the successful sale via email. The buyer will be given instructions to pay the funds into our secure escrow account and our team will work with the buyer to ensure this happens as soon as possible, keeping you updated every step of the way. Buyers have four business days to pay into our secure account.

Once the payment has cleared, we’ll share your contact details with the buyer and vice versa. Then it’s over to you guys to arrange collection of the vehicle, either by yourself or [via a courier](https://help.carandclassic.com/importing-exporting-shipping?hsLang=en), whichever suits you.

When you’re ready to hand over the keys, both you and the buyer confirm the handover has taken place by clicking the relevant notifications in your Car & Classic account. Don't worry, we'll send you clear instructions on how to do this. The funds will be released and sent directly to you as soon as both parties have confirmed. Transfers are only made on weekdays and the funds should clear within one business day for GPB bank accounts and three to five business days for EUR accounts.
