# What happens if the reserve is not met?

If the reserve is not met when the auction ends we will strive to find a buyer for your vehicle within 14 days of the auction end date. A member of the Car & Classic auctions team will then be in touch to discuss next steps and we’ll work with you to explore what’s best for you and your vehicle. 

Our priority is to sell your vehicle for you as quickly as possible and for the best price and as such we have several options available after an auction has ended to secure a successful sale.

We may secure a sale for you via our Make an Offer service, or by contacting interested parties directly and negotiating on your behalf. It's all part of our exemplary service.
